Merry Christmas from CYMT

At our CYMT staff meeting this week, we shared our favorite part of the biblical Christmas story. As youth workers, we love the fact that Mary and Joseph were teenagers.  Mary was probably around 13 years old and Joseph just a few years older. Gabriel was a youth minister. He invited Mary and Joseph’s participation in God’s work of salvation in the world. This is the heart of youth ministry: to create space where youth can encounter God and invite them to join in God’s divine action in the world. During this season of the year where we celebrate the faithfulness of a teenage mother and father, CYMT is grateful for your part in bringing the Good News of Jesus Christ to teenagers. May you know the presence of our Savior this Christmas season!
