Grace is a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) seeking to be the heart, hands, feet, & voice of Jesus in the world. In the context of worship and through ministries that reach across every life stage, Grace embraces the big questions of faith and life. The Grace community believes wholeheartedly in Jesus’ radical welcome to all. As a Reconciling in Christ congregation, we celebrate and affirm the holy identities of our LGBTQIA+ siblings. We strive to be anti-racist in our communal life, and we honor the gifts that come with every life stage – including the gifts of our youth and young adults.
About you and your gifts:
You are a relational, energetic, and faith-filled leader whose genuine calling is to walk alongside young people as they discover who they are and who God is calling them to be. You are a strong communicator, a thoughtful organizer, and a collaborative team player who can balance big-picture vision with the practical details of ministry. You are skilled at building authentic relationships with youth, young adults, parents, and volunteers; creating welcoming and inclusive environments; and helping young people connect faith with everyday life. You are passionate about the church’s ministry of belonging, justice, service, and leadership development. Above all, you are someone who listens well, leads with compassion and integrity, and can inspire the next generation to follow Jesus with courage, curiosity, and joy.
