In the heart of the charming and family-friendly coastal town of Dunedin, Florida, is a church that’s seeking a warm, energetic, and faith-filled individual to serve as our Director of Children’s Ministry. Nestled just minutes from the Gulf of Mexico and known for its lively festivals, scenic parks, and welcoming spirit, Dunedin is the perfect backdrop for ministry that makes a lasting impact on children and families.
This part-time role offers the opportunity to shape and nurture the spiritual lives of children from birth through 5th grade in a welcoming and vibrant church community. You’ll lead our children’s programs on Sundays, coordinate special events like Vacation Bible School, holiday celebrations, and help create a safe, joyful space where kids can learn about God’s love in meaningful ways.
As part of our dedicated ministry team, you’ll work closely with the Lead Pastor, oversee a team of volunteers and paid support staff, and play a vital role in fostering intergenerational faith development. Your creativity and leadership will be encouraged and celebrated as you strengthen the church’s children’s programming. If you have a heart for children’s ministry and a vision for sharing God’s love in fun, engaging, and faith-centered ways, we’d love to meet you!
This role may be combined with our Director of Communications position to create a full-time opportunity, depending on the skills and interests of the candidate. We are flexible and open to shaping the role around the right person.
