The Middle School Ministry Coordinator nurtures faith formation for youth in grades 6–8, working with staff, volunteers, and families to provide Christ-centered education, fellowship, and spiritual growth opportunities. • Plan and lead weekly activities, retreats, mission trips, and special events for middle school youth.
• Build relationships with students (grades 5–9) and their families through pastoral care, communication, and engagement.
• Guide youth leadership development and collaborate with adult volunteers.
• Welcome and connect rising 6th graders and their families into youth ministry.
• Communicate ministry activities through newsletters, social media, and other channels.
• Partner with staff and lay leaders to grow a vibrant youth ministry
• Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience with youth (church setting preferred), or equivalent combination.
• Committed follower of Jesus Christ with a heart for discipleship.
• Knowledge of Presbyterian Church (USA) and Reformed Tradition.
• Strong relational, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively across multiple platforms.
