Minister for Children, Youth, and Families

Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college. Master’s degree from a theological institution preferred.

Experience/Skill Requirements:

• Wesleyan tradition preferred
• Ministerial or teaching preferred
• Organizational skills
• Well versed in Biblical teachings
• Demonstrated success in growing disciples, leading volunteers, and inspiring spiritual growth by personal example
• Excellent communication skills evident in speaking and writing
• Ability to readily engage in conversations with individuals and groups
• Is open to feedback on their job performance and adjusts accordingly
• Models Jesus when comforting those experiencing a crisis
• Successful engagement with community organizations in outreach programs
• The ability to stay in-touch with church committees and their initiatives through regular attendance and communications
• Planning and implementation of church educational programs
