Invest deeply in relationships. Rather than simply running programs, you’ll have the freedom to spend time with young people where they live, learn, and participate in the community – building the trust and relationships that make ministry meaningful.
Lead with a team. You won’t be doing ministry alone. You’ll work alongside committed volunteers, families, university interns, ministry teams, and church leaders who are ready to support and participate.
Help young people experience faith through action. From mission trips and camps to VBS, service, fellowship, and leadership opportunities, you’ll have the chance to create experiences where children and youth take ownership of their faith and discover how they can make a difference.
Provide vision and leadership for a unified children’s and youth ministry from birth through age 18, creating clear, sustainable pathways for spiritual growth.
Build relationships and develop people by investing in children, students, families, volunteers, and interns while recruiting, equipping, and encouraging others to serve.
Create and coordinate meaningful ministry experiences including weekly programming, VBS, mission opportunities, camps, retreats, service projects, and community engagement.
Relational & emotionally intelligent — A good listener who builds trust, communicates well, and genuinely enjoys being present with young people and families.
Proactive & organized — A self-starter who can manage details, anticipate needs, coordinate many moving pieces, and bring clarity to a growing ministry.
Spiritually mature & collaborative — Someone with an authentic Christian faith who can work well with volunteers, staff, parents, and church leaders while bringing energy and fresh ideas.
The children and youth in this community will know they are seen, loved, valued, and connected – and families will know they have a trusted partner in their faith journey. Volunteers and interns will be equipped and excited to serve, programs will have clarity and purpose, and children’s and youth ministry will function as one connected, sustainable ministry. Most importantly, young people will be growing in their faith, taking ownership of their church community, serving others, and genuinely wanting to be there.
