What does success look like at St. Mark's United Methodist?

Success in this role will be seen in students experiencing multiple ways to connect and engage through their interests and passions, being known and valued, and growing in their understanding of what it means to follow Jesus. They will have space to ask honest questions, explore faith in real and meaningful ways, and build strong relationships with peers and leaders. Over time, students will move from participation to ownership through leadership opportunities and a student leadership team, contributing their ideas and stepping into leadership within the ministry.

At the ministry level, success will look like greater clarity, consistency, and sustainability in how student ministry is organized and communicated. Rhythms will feel intentional and steady, guided by thoughtful leadership. Volunteers will take on meaningful leadership roles, strengthening ministry capacity, while children, youth, and family ministries collaborate more closely to strengthen connection across generations. Ultimately, the ministry will reflect shared ownership, strong communication, multiple discipleship pathways, and a unified direction that supports long-term health, faithfulness, and adaptability.
