BEING A HOLY TEENAGER
Explore the biblical understanding of holiness, highlighting that it is being set apart by God for a special purpose. This series recognizes that holiness comes from God and is a reflection of God’s love and grace in our lives. Students will be encouraged to examine how they live out holiness in their daily lives, particularly in their relationships, speech, and treatment of others.
WHAT ABOUT FORGIVENESS?
Help young people reflect on the tricky, yet transformative nature of forgiveness. This series covers 4 different angles of forgiveness: “What if I don’t forgive?”, how to forgive others, asking for forgiveness, and forgiving oneself. Â
DISCOVERING JUSTICE IN THE OLD TESTAMENT
This series explores several “J” characters in the Old Testament, and their relationship with another “J” word: JUSTICE. Using the stories of Jeremiah, Jonah, Job, and Jacob, your group will learn how God calls us to justice, what God’s justice looks like, what to do when we experience injustice, and how to take responsibility for our part in injustice.Â
ADVENT: A WANDERING JOURNEY
This is a guide for all Advent pilgrims as they make their way to Bethlehem. Advent tends to be an aimless wander through the consumer entanglement of the season. However, this series asks your group to wander in a different way. Over four weeks, they will wander by Watching, Waiting, Walking, and Wondering into the story of the incarnation.Â
EXPLORING PRAYER
This series explores prayer as words, actions, presence, and art. Prayer is woven into every aspect of life. It moves beyond words, encompassing action, presence, and artistry as a way of connecting and co-creating with God. We invite young people to enter into different dilemmas through study, questions, and activities that help them discover prayer as life itself.Â
SURVIVING MIDDLE SCHOOL
This series covers some of the major shifts that happen in this incredible and treacherous phase of life. Together you will explore Growing Out Of childhood, Growing In To new bodies, Fitting In where they belong, and Standing Out as individual persons. All of the sessions focus on providing agency, dignity, and encouragement to young people. They leave knowing that they are loved, respected, and known through all of these shifts while showing them that not even middle school can separate them from the love of God.Â
BE STILL
Being “still” isn’t just the absence of movement; it’s an intention to tune into all God is doing and seeking to turn off the distractions of our world. What would the world look like if we all chose to “Be Still” more often? What noises keep us from listening to our hearts/spirits? When we can finally “Be Still,” we may find ourselves inspired into action and discipleship. These questions are what guide this series. For the next 4 weeks, you will explore what it means to “Be Still” and how it may transform you and the world around you.
BREAKING FREE: A LENTEN SERIES
This Lenten series explores three sessions of Freedom FROM (Sin, Guilt, Fear) and three sessions of Freedom TO (Resist, Transform, Co-Create). In Freedom FROM, participants reflect on the things that God calls us away from, helping us strive to live a life free from burdens, fears, and the pain sin causes us and others. In Freedom TO, participants reflect on the things that God calls us towards, things that bring life and transformation in us, others, and our world. Throughout this series, participants will be invited to reimagine how Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection change how we experience Freedom in our everyday lives. Â
FINDING OURSELVES
Explore the lives of minor characters in the New Testament—figures who may not be center stage in Scripture but who play vital roles in God’s story. This is an invitation for youth to reimagine what it means to lead, serve, and belong within Christ’s body. With characters like Barnabas, Martha, Stephen, and the Ethiopian eunuch teaching encouragement, courageousness, radical inclusion, and witness, this series seeks to encourage youth to see their journey as a Christian in a different light. Students will understand this journey not as a quest for the spotlight, but as a call to be faithful, courageous, and compassionate participants in God’s redemptive work in the world.
THE ENVIRONMENT AND OUR FAITH
Explore our call to care for God’s creation. From the very beginning, God made the world and called it good. Over time, our actions—and our inaction—have caused harm to the earth and everything in it. We’ve forgotten the goodness and beauty of creation. As a result, our choices have harmed the climate in ways that impact all living things: plants, animals, and humans. Though climate change affects everyone, those who suffer the most are often the ones with the least power—the poor, marginalized, and voiceless. However, God cares deeply about all of creation and calls us to care for it as well. It’s a care characterized by loving our neighbors and following God’s call to justice right here and right now.
Holy Disruptions series are designed to delve into the unique experiences of today’s youth, spark deep theological reflection, and foster transformative discussions. Our three-part methodology empowers students to align with God’s vision and desires for the world.
